## What are the options for SAP partnership?

### SAP PartnerEdge OpenEcosystem, Build (recommended)
This partnership level is your perfect starting point to kickstart your journey. With no annual fee, this track lets you grab Non-Commercial Licenses (annual fee applies) for testing, demos, and development on SAP on-prem systems. Think of it as your launchpad to build, experiment, and innovate—with minimal upfront costs. 🚀

### SAP PartnerEdge, Build
Once you have a product and are ready to take your solution to the market, this is a great way to get validation in the marketplace and take advantage of additional benefits. A quick note: there’s an annual partnership fee here, plus any license fees for TDD. It's a great option to grow into. 💡

## Steps to join the SAP PartnerEdge Program  

### Prerequisite: Create an account
If you don't already have an SAP account, create one before getting started
1. Visit the [SAP Partner Registration Portal](https://www.sap.com/partners/partner-program/build.html).  
2. Click **create a free account** and follow the registration steps

### Step 1: Register as an SAP Build Partner  
Start by joining SAP’s PartnerEdge Open Ecosystem to access development tools and resources.  

1. Visit the [SAP Partner Registration Portal](https://www.sap.com/partners/partner-program/build.html).  
2. Under **SAP PartnerEdge OpenEcosystem, Build**, click **Apply now**.  
3. Submit your organization’s details to complete partner application.  

Once approved, you’ll receive a partner number and gain access to SAP’s partner portal.  


### Step 2: Request on-prem development licenses  
After approval, request licenses for test, demo, & development via SAP’s TDD team.  

1. **Email your request** to **tdd@sap.com** with the subject: *“License Request: SAP Application and Platform Developer for Partners”*.  
2. **Use this template** to ensure all details are included:
